Game difficulty is very balanced and I can safely recommend you
this game. You can also turn into Super Sonic. An auto-save system
is present. It's also easy to play - just pick your character at
title screen and continue your game!
Tips
-You will get a cheat code at the credits screen of the game. Each
character gives you a different cheat. Type them in title screen.
-To beat Robotnik in Angel Island, just keep jumping over the rocks
until you are in a small entrance. Some characters have different
effect on rocks, some of them can break them.
-In Mushroom Hill, you will bounce a bit higher each time you bounce
on a mushroom. Don't rush and try to bounce as high as you can by
simple bouncing on them more.
