All our rooms enjoy the luxury of a sea view, mini-bars, luxurious bathrobes, welcome decanters of scotch and sherry, hairdryers, trouser-presses, fully remote controlled air-conditioning, satellite television and facilities to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee when you want one. You'll even find sweets by the bedside and ducks in the bathroom! Our suites even have CD players for the musically inclined.

Soft, squidgy sofas and armchairs are in abundance and can provide a welcome respite with a cool drink after a bustling day's holiday or a busy day at the office.

The pool, which is of the sea water variety, sits in its own secluded garden away from the hustle and bustle. This area enjoys magnificent sunshine for the majority of the day and is a must for those seeking that Mediterranean tan.

There is a fully stocked bar and food is served all day from an interesting and varied menu. There are barbecues and events throughout the summer months and the pool is available during the season for private bookings in consultation with our banqueting department.

The Wisteria covered terrace really is the place to be on a summer's evening. The views are stunning. In particular, from this end of the hotel the view to Africa on clear days is magical, feeling that one could almost touch Morocco.

Drinks, snacks and light meals are served here and ‘tapas’ are a speciality. There is a delightful selection of interesting wines by the glass and there is a full range of international beers, liqueurs and spirits. Our barmen will gladly mix cocktails from our list or your own tipple if you prefer.

The restaurant is renowned locally for its standard of cuisine which draws from British, Iberian and north African influences. Fresh, locally caught fish are a speciality. There is an excellent value 'house' menu alongside a full à la carte selection. The wine list is well considered with an eclectic choice of wines from across the world but in particular some excellent new wave wines from Spain.

Our conference rooms are fully air-conditioned and our conference amenities and equipment are everything a conference organiser or speaker could desire, from sophisticated audio-visual kit to a spare pencil sharpener or mini-stapler.

The Rock has recently hosted a number of conferences & meetings for well known UK and international companies, as well as a number of Government institutions.

The Barbary Bar, which opens out onto the Wisteria Terrace, has been refurbished in a style that incorporates a blend of colonial, Iberian and Moorish influences which literally reflect its geographical location within the hotel.

Along with a fully stocked international bar there is a food menu available where guests can enjoy culinary delights that also reflect our geography and history from steak pies and ‘tapas’ to ‘tajines.’

The service is efficient and courteous from members of our team who have been with us for much of their working lives.
